Eris

Eris, goddess of strife and discord,

A force of nature, unforeseen and ignored,

With an apple, she set the gods to fight,

Their vanity exposed, their egos in sight.

She walked among Olympus with glee,

A trickster spirit, a divine spree,

Her laughter ringed throughout the hills,

As she watched the chaos, the endless frills.

For Eris knew the truth of life,

That petty squabbles breed nothing but strife,

And only by embracing the other,

Could we hope to be sisters and brothers.

So let us honor Eris' name,

As we seek harmony and refrain,

From needless battles, and heedlessly much,

For it is only love that we should clutch.
