In the silence of my soul,

I hear the echoes of my heart.

A lonely sound, so soft and low,

That tears me apart.

The memories of our love,

Still linger in my mind.

The happiness we once shared,

Now so hard to find.

The days are long and empty,

The nights so cold and dark.

My heart aches for your touch,

But you are worlds apart.
